Hamba Kahle Tata Ade Ngwa |
June 29, 2017 |
My tardy condolences to the Ade Ngwa family on Pah's transition to heaven. He was an iconic elder in all aspects and will be surely missed.I remember him honoring me during the memorial I had for my late father in Bamenda in February 2008 and then visiting my family in Brooklyn,New York. Given the current political atmosphere in Cameroon today, Pah left a legacy by setting the record straight regarding the type of Cameroon envisioned by his the late Honorable Prime Minister of -Dr. John Ngu Foncha. Yes -my documentary"The Life and Times of Honorable John Ngu Foncha" is there for posterity and his contribution will forever be appreciated.Pah was the guest star!It is befitting for me to seek solace with the Zulu expression for the departed:Hambe Kahle Tata Nicholas Ade Ngwa!

Each time I was on holiday in Bamenda, I went for a jogging session in the mornings.
Each time I went I met Pa Nga.
Pa lived a heathy life and understood the importance of regular exercise.
We will chit chat for a few minutes and off he went sweating it out brisk walking.
I was impressed how regular he went for his morning brisk walks, not to talk of his great community spirit and religious fervour.
I will miss you Pa.
My heart goes to the entire family at home and abroad and congratulations for giving Pa a befitting burial.
Adieu Papa

Gentlemen,
Words are at best inadequate in describng what has happened. Pa Ngwa "is" an institution. His legacy now continues through you. Indomitable, irreplaceable, and indubitably blessed in several ways, Pa Ngwa touched the lives of many across the globe. We join you in celebrating his life and thanking God for the time he was with us. He will be sorely missed. May the good Lord be your comforter at this time. May the land of our ancestors be kind to him and may his soul rest in peace.

Dear Papa, Go in peace. I will not forget your advice to meand to my brothers, to do all it takes to build our fathers grave in his honour. We have still not done so but He (Our dadunderstands why. Your work in Nkambe brought you down to earth, working with people. That is why you have been who you are, working for the emancipation and freedom of people. I remember your dedicated services, your simplicity, your devotedness and commitment. Our God recognizes all your good works and you are remembered because of them. Pray for us in that world beyond. We know we will meet you there too soon. Your love is in our hearts forever.

Condolences For Your Loss |
January 11, 2016 |
Hi Chi,
Please accept my deepest condolences for the loss of your beloved father - Pa Nicholas Ngwa. Pa was loved by all and I remember him very fondly. He will always be remembered and missed.
I feel personally touched by this because Pa was the only elder I know and we went to him for counseling especially during my traditional wedding and as was expected, he presided over the wedding traditions.
Due to lack of contacts to my other Ngwa brothers, I encourage you to pass on my deepest condolences to the rest of the family. I know my family back home in Douala will come out in their numbers to pay their final respects to Pa on his final journey.
May God bless you all.

PA, “Our power lies in our small daily choices, one after another, to create eternal ripples of a life well lived.”
To the Ngwa's family, Note that "As you comprehend this profound loss, let yourself cry knowing each tear is a note of love rising to the heavens"
I'll NEVER forget Pa's prayers during our car accident on trip from Akoaya with the SDF National Chairman. It is still echoing in my head like yesterday.
Sleep in PEACE

Be consoled... |
January 11, 2016 |
Dear Nico, Chi and and family,
By all accounts your father was a good man who lived a good life and died a good death. I pray that your will be consoled by the words of scripture 1Thessalonians 4:13 But we do not want you to be uninformed, brothers, about those who are asleep, that you may not grieve as others do who have no hope. 14 For since we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so, through Jesus, God will bring with him those who have fallen asleep.
My thoughts and prayers are with you and the entrire family (espercially Mum) during this difficult time.
